"CLIA" is Community Living Independent Adult - Care.

We provide a wide range of person centred care across Putney and South West London, supporting those with learning disabilities, autism and complex needs. Our services include respite provision and Supported Living services,

For adults living at our Supported Living services, we build a support plan that is tailored to each individual. This might include:

  • Daily living tasks

  • Personal care

  • Health and medication support

  • Budgeting and managing money

  • Building links with friends, family and the community

  • Social and leisure activities

  • Support finding employment

  • Making healthy lifestyle choices

  • Help with tenancy management.

We have chosen to base ourselves in the Wandsworth Borough Council  area and we also work with surrounding boroughs in South West London. We seek out properties in the affluent parts of town as we believe that everyone should have a choice in the type of area they chose to live in. It is known that a disproportionately high number of people with learning disabilities live in the areas of highest deprivation in Wandsworth.

CLIA Care aspires to address the growing learning disability demographic by delivering services for independent adult living and services for personal care for people in their own home.

Having been based in Putney for about three years, we have built up excellent relations and social capital with local businesses and amenities. We think this resource is invaluable in helping us leverage opportunities for our service users to really connect with their local communities and live life amongst everybody else. We are using local networks and community assets to build resilience.

We also aim to be part of the journey towards the integration of Health and Social Care, and for sustainability and transformation of services.
